Meet the team
Fun Languages Almada is part of a network of 13 language learning centres spread across the country and with 25 years of educational experience. The school is located in the centre of Almada and is an accredited organisation in preparing students for Cambridge University Exams.
The pedagogical methodology used is innovative and focuses on communicative interaction between teacher and student (from 3 years of age) promoted in a spontaneous, natural and non-compulsive way.
The methodology and materials used are regularly updated and our teachers are qualified and fluent (bilingual or native) in the language they teach.
Each class is made up of a maximum of 12 students and all of them are given language proficiency tests beforehand, so that the groups are made up of students of a similar level.

A teacher from Durban, South Africa. He completed his TEFL certification course in September 2020 through The TEFL Academy. He has a great passion for football, which took him from South Africa to Europe in an attempt to build a career as a professional athlete. However, this dream did not come true and along the way he discovered another passion: teaching and learning languages.
In addition to teaching English, Devon is currently studying for a degree in International Business Management at the European University. This academic path has reinforced his belief that languages are fundamental, and that being fluent in multiple languages provides access to knowledge and wisdom that cannot be found in books alone.
