We want all students to feel comfortable and have access to the education they want. That’s why we offer language courses for children, teenagers and adults. As a Cambridge Preparation Centre, our focus is naturally on English. We also offer courses for learning other languages, such as German, French and Portuguese as a foreign language. Cambridge University Exam Preparation
Cambridge University exams are known for proving and certifying the level of language proficiency in English. Our institute is a recognized and specialized preparation center for these exams.
More than one and a half million people take these exams to gain entry to schools and universities, to advance their professional careers or for personal satisfaction. Passing the Cambridge English exams gives you an internationally recognised certificate that proves your level of English.
Courses for children
The Fun Languages Almada program for children is structured to meet the needs of each student. The activities developed from the age of 3 provide learning with pleasure, in the same way that they learn the language.
Up to the age of 12, children can take exams for the 3 Cambridge levels:
Young Learner Tests
- Starters
- Movers and
- Flyers
At our institute you can enroll in annual preparation courses for these same exams.
Classes will be held once and/or twice a week.
Courses for Young People
Our specific programs for young people provide strong communicative interaction between teacher and student, developing the ability to communicate in a new language.
- Learning is based on the same type of methodology that develops the ability to communicate effectively and innovatively.
- The courses for young people aim to develop the English they need, both at school and for communication, and prepare students for the KEY, Preliminary and First Certificate (FCE) from Cambridge English.
- University students or recent graduates will be able to access preparatory courses for the Advanced (CAE), IELTS, DELF and DALF (French).
- Annual courses are taught once and/or twice a week.
- Individual lessons may be provided when preparing for exams for students who are going to study abroad.
Courses for Adults
The main objective of courses for adults is to provide them with rapid and relaxed linguistic development.
- The aim of the courses is to provide rapid learning, granting mastery of a second language, according to your needs.
- Through the use of carefully chosen materials, simulation of everyday situations, current topics and themes as well as conversation activities, students learn the essential language for everyday or professional use.
- Students can also choose to be part of a group or have individual lessons.
- Fun Languages has the resources to develop courses adapted to the needs of companies, which can take place at our center or at the client's own facilities.
- Annual courses are taught once and/or twice a week.
Easter and Summer Courses in Portugal
During the Easter school break and in the months of July and August, we offer courses for young people aged 7 to 14. The programme includes a complete programme that includes oral, written comprehension, grammar and listening skills, combined with leisure activities, cultural activities (visits to museums), sports and workshops.
